Lighter Than Air
bits of me
lost pieces of you
swept up in an accidental
gust
that lifts and rises
drafts and dives
taken on the whim
of the wind
to lighter dreams
of drifting
random
earthly bonds released
until the breeze gives way
to calm and
bits and pieces flutter
down
to meet together
on the ground
to fit together without space
one soul is born
by heaven’s grace
