Light Shows
A sparrow flew across a low sun
its speeding shadow covered the world
I once saw a crow open its beak
to swallow the moon
watched from the top of a mountain
an eagle fly under a clear blue lake
or glimpsed a raging river
tumble through a raindrop
Light tricks
yet also shows us
the potential size of sparrow bones
