Listen to poem:

Light On In the House

But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.
Matthew 24:43 NIV
Song by Five Blind Boys of Alabama

The owner of the house
Has been blindly robbed
The thief sneaking in the night
Hiding out in the bushes
To come in when least expected
Oh how he's out to steal
All the joy and peace within
Keeping one focused on worldly things
Out to destroy all the new fixtures
One had received from another with love
Destructive he is causing confusion
Of where all the items have been rearranged
So one day the owner of the house
Meets one walking by
That tells them a way
To clean out the inside of the house
Throw out all the chaos the thief created
Start off with new freshly painted walls
Follow this guide to clean up this house
The theif hates to see pictures within
That show so much joy and peace
And a house which has been wiped clean
And mostly one which has been prepared
Of all his foolish tricks to enter
The theif can not enter when the
House is full of light to shine upon
His evil sneaky ways which
Leave him on the outside
The motion detector lights pick him up
On his every move that he must keep moving
Leaves him in fear that another might
Learn how to keep him from entering
The owner is prepared for this thief
Knowing that each day the thief
Comes by but sees the light is on
So he must resist this spirit which
Reveals the darkness with the shining light

For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.
2 Corinthians 4:6 NIV

Lol, yeah I know, they don't care if it's daylight anymore, over here, that is the most common time ,in hoping you are at work, so they can work their way into ones house or stores , hugs. : ). Some states here have law if one don t take over 750 dollars in merchandise from store,it's a simple fine,so they go in mobs with calculators

A house lighted up at night will keep the thief away. In the same way a person beaming with inner light will keep the Satan at bay ! He cannot rob him of his assets. Great analogy , dear Stephan....
