Light of Sadness

My soul pours out of my heart, Along with the rain that pours from the sky. A hollow feeling grows from inside, But I just lay here and feel I will die. The rain hits my face, Making reality stay close. My cold, beating heart slows, And my breathing almost goes. I start to fade, Out of this life I once knew. Feeling everything leave me, As I count my last heart beats, Four, three and two… Then the clouds are empty, And the raining stops. The moon shines down Making my heart drop. This feeling i forgot is now returning, I open my eyes and remember, Just how beautiful the moon is. I no longer have to remember to breath, And my heart is racing inside of me. The day I thought would be my last, Turned out to be the day all my pain has past.
