Light of Eternity
Whispers in the dark
so plain and clear
Glimpse of light
with figures near
Embraced in my bed
cold and frozen
as calmness enters the room
The voice said you are chosen
Chosen to be you
Chosen to be free
This is a message for you
can't you see
The journey has been set
thus conditions have not been met
But fear not
I have no regrets
Regrets of the love
that we shared
I'm leaving you signs
to show you that I cared.
So embark on this journey and hold me
close
For I am reality
Not your imagination
or a ghost
For I am who I am
look in your heart and you will see
It should be clear
don't you remember me
Tears start to fall
as they run down my face
I reply I love you forever
and no one can take your place
Secured with comfort
and that of grace
I do remember you
for goodness sake
Now we have come to a moment in time
Just know in your heart
my light will always shine
In you for as long as it should be
Just always remember
I am your light for eternity.
