Lift Your Voice

Lift Your Voice

(softly) Let it start out
                 as a whisper
                 Calling gently
(louder) from your heart
                 Growing stronger
                 as you knock
(louder) Upon his door

refrain Lift your voice
                it is easy
                Lift your voice
                it isn't hard
                Just Lift Your Voice!

               Sing your praises
               Sing your sorrows
               He will hear you
               when you call
(softly) Listen closely (pause)
               the door opens (pause)
(sharp) Look! See the Lord!

refrain Lift your voice
               it is easy
               Lift your voice
               it isn't hard
              Just Life Your Voice!

              Patiently he waits
              watching from above
              listening for hearts
              murmuring his name
              Wanting us to come
              to the faithful one
Call His Name...Jesus..Jesus (sing like overlapping fireworks)

refrain Lift your voice
              it is easy
              Life your voice
              it isn't hard
              Just Lift Your Voice!

              Feel his strength
              in your sorrow
              Feel his gladness
              in your joy
              Feel his presence
              When you call
              Upon the Lord

refrain Lift your voice
             it is easy
             Lift your voice
             it isn't hard
             Just Lift Your Voice!
