Lift Thy Voice In Joyful Praise

Lift thy voice in joyful praise
Songs of adoration
May our tongues combine to raise
Joyful exultation

Join the chorus gathered round
Where the seeker may be found
In the walls and hallowed ground
Of this congregation

Christ the Lord was born to gain
Righteous acclamation
Celebrate the Master’s reign
Join the jubilation

Jesus Christ has won the fight
For the sake of truth and right
Sing His glory day and night
Songs of Exaltation

For the souls of men he died
Without condemnation 
Fear and hate were thus denied
Wrongful accusation

In His might He beat the grave
For the souls He came to save
By the love He freely gave
Without hesitation

In Gethsemane He bled
By His dedication
For the souls of man he plead
Heartfelt supplication

Now the healing may begin
Christ has paid the price of sin
For the peace of God to win
Holy habitation.
