Notes About The Poem

Lift A Glass

Summer, winter, autumnal and vernal
Nature's tide freely flows through time eternal
As our days are with abandon shorn
Each year laid to rest is by nature reborn

So let the champagne flow this last night of December
To auld lang syne lift a glass so we may remember
With buoyant glee we'll greet the bright new dawn
As the new year struts in with dash and elan

Nice poem Rob, Let's welcome the New Year with Dash and positivity, with peace throughout the world. The Auld Lang Syne on my YouTube channel is positive but a touch different and with a twist, if you get a chance to look at it. You can click on one of the videos on my page which will take you to it. Hugs Maria
