Life's To Short To Hold a Grudge

Every time that I come to see you You constantly make up a story or two There's always going to be some reason why You can never truly look me into the eye Tell me what this grudge is all about When I try to talk you do nothing but shout I try to get you to see things my way But It's either your way or the highway Maybe someday soon you will realize That your life is slowly passing you bye With everything seeming to hold you down There was a time in your life that smile turned into a frown As I sit here and try to say You just have to try and get past all the bad days Or you'll never find your smile again Just saying this as a friend So please let me lend you my hand We could wash your problems away like the ocean and the sand Your getting to old to be grouchy and bitter There's so many things you need to reconsider Nothing is ever really what it will seem Get up put a smile on and boost your self esteem You only have so many days on this earth Time to show everyone what you're worth
