Life’s silent valleys
The dusky flavours
Of comfort in my heart
Whisper like breeze
In a lonely night
The tiny boat
Of calm and passion
Flows in the rhythm
Of faded memories
All is not yet gone
The priceless old wine
Idling in closed bottles
Bestows endless solace
Still not poor
I live in affluence
Of glorious past
Of struggle and pursuit
The rising sun
On the blue waters
Cherishes promise and hope
In life’s silent valleys
