Life's Mysteries

Each trace of life is clothed in mystery,
But sense of wonder’s often numbed by pride
In man’s achievements throughout history
And daily blessings are soon left aside.

The age of wonderment surrounds us still;
Celestial contemplation will reveal
Such mysteries which cannot help but thrill
And cause the humbled soul,in awe, to kneel.

A tiny mass of cells picks up its pace;
Eyes, ears, nose heart are marvellously styled
Distinctive fingerprints are soon in place ;
Two lives united form a new-born child.

With open eyes and hearts we’ll understand
That miracles and life walk hand in hand.

The miracle of LIFE - even the simplest forms - we take so much forgranted, what a tender, delicate thread of hourly miracles we dangle by! Wonderful write, Wendy, and congrats on your win, my friend. Blessings! :-) <3
