Life's Doors
I entered the door of life, the first day of my birth
a precious gift from heaven, to live here on this earth.
I entered the door of childhood, to play and live and be
to discover who I was and explore the world around me.
I entered the door of schooling, to learn and think and grow
to read and write and find out all I was meant to know.
I entered the door of adulthood and wondered who I was
and searched to find life's meaning and true peace and love.
I found the only Door that mattered along life's varied way
the saving Door of Jesus, and inside His Door I'll stay.
