The Joy of Giving: The More you give, the More you Receive | by Anirudh ...

What of life’s bounty will a long life ensure? What value is purpose as life we endure? Is it beauty, talent, or money we need? Is it fame or glory, or some secret creed? From the dawns early light ‘til twilight’s sunset, Which way shall I travel, which way’s my best bet? “Is all I am that which I eat”, someone once said. Or am I the thoughts coming out of my head? We can’t take it with us; it must not be things. Surely, it’s not houses, or cars, or jeweled rings, It must be intrinsic, memories, and such. The things that our hearts long for so much. If a long life with purpose is what’s in store, We’ll be taking much less and giving much more.

Your Sonnet is exquisite, Bill, filed with the understanding of what gives life purpose and meaning--all that's intrinsic is what's valuable. You nailed it! Yellow Rose
