Lifeless Shores

Bloodless insects slink down cracks and fissures Chastised Earth mumbles her prayer Aimless buzzards circle, eyeing lifeless shores Dreaded gases envelop jungles Mighty timbers writhe on forest's floor Weeds grotesque choke once-cities Soundless streets of dark glory's gore... Stagger, Stumble, Wretch and Heave The Last Day on this Planet grieves

Here we go: 5 billion (years) 4 billion, nine-hundred ninety-nine million, nine-hundred ninety-nine thousand, nine-hundred ninety-nine (years)… Stick around, we'll get to the end of this "Planet Earth" thing... LOL. Thanks so much for your support, allen! Best wishes, Gershon
