Life With Trump V, Vi, Vii, Viii

Author's Note: Recite the following using the rhythm and melody of "Home, home on the range where the deer and the antelope play." The first verse can be used as the refrain:

His income tax structure is strange
Donald will the needy shortchange
The overly rich
Claim their life is a b-i-t-c-h
For them he’ll find bucks on the range

A clear planet earth never smokes
But Trump’s cohorts grim are the Kochs
Where fossils remain
They'll tear into the plain
Fracking rigs are their dirty jokes

There's fat upon Miss USA
The Donald says queen you shall pay!
"For my regal job"
She did painfully sob
"Is rehab a roll in the hay?"

Like buffalo once were so vast
Our middle class was unsurpassed
Now they are the prey
While republicans play
And deny the climate forecast

Yeah, I enjoyed writing these. I was watching CNN repeat itself a million times about nothing, and I am thinking that we are in really bad shape. The media analysis is quite in accurate and weak. I think it would be best if they just admitted they don't understand what is happening and let you take over the commentary sections of the broadcasts.

Maybe he won't be as bad as some think. Or maybe I should take my rose colored glasses off and see the world as it really is, my Mom used to tell me. Or maybe it's like going on a first date or a roller coaster, calm down. Things won't be as bad as you think :)

It's likely to be worse. The billionaires are in charge, and they have no idea what it means to make an honest living. No possibility of empathy for us.

Richard, as I read these things, I am saddened. As I was saying, even a smart selfish person realizes that they have to share with others for their own well being. So how stupid is this guy? What is strange is that many people can't see through it. I think if we had a better candidate to oppose this guy, he would be a footnote right now.

Oh a song who many sing, and the band plays on, I cringe to think of the future with this tyrannical maniac. You've got perfect pitch.

Your voice is sweet and right on the mark. We are going to have a tough time. It will be very painful. The very rich are laughing, but they won't be when the planet explodes.

It's unfortunate because this group of thugs has no shame at all. We're already seeing some bad things. I can't see the point of deporting someone who's been here for twenty years and separating the person from her husband and children. This man is a t-RUMP-osaurus.

If I could predict the future, that would be something. When bullies prevail, something really bad always happens. That much I do know. There is something really wrong here.

Now it's the second to last verse. Have done some editing. The more I read the news, the more I have to believe this is going to be real bad. I hope I am wrong, but I doubt it.

Jan, the last verse was a rewrite of a limerick I had written several years ago when a Trump pageant winner had some problems with alcohol. I knew then that something sick was going on. Never liked the guy from the onset because he is a narcissistic sicko. So now, we are left with laughter while we will be misled. Not that the alternative was so great either.
