Life Real Or Dream

50 years have passed since birth Seems unbelievable Fleeting moments, moving fast Past is HAZY Mostly forgotten Only few memories remain Is this life real or IMAGINARY? Am I real? Are things actually happening? Or Are they DREAMLIKE, UNREAL? Although I am fifty Still many mysteries remain unresolved! Who am I? I can survive with artificial organs, I can breathe with artificial respiration I am surely not the body or breathe Then who am I? I want to see myself Why am I hidden from view? Morning to night, time flies Although I live, life seems TRANCELIKE Everything seems a figment of my own imagination, SURREAL I feel I am a SHADOWY figure, ETHEREAL, I will very soon disappear 29.05.2021 Contest Name : Writing Prompt - Dreamlike Sponsor : Constance La France

Nice to know I am not alone. I thought I was the only one who felt life is a dream - not real. When we pray from deep within, our prayers are heard. You were really brave. God bless, Take care, Rama
