Life Mere Thought

Could life be sustained, by mere thought?
Would it flourish and thrive?
Would it soak up the sun's warmth,
drink the cool water to soothe its weary roots?
Would it feel love, hate, desire, pain
Could it?
For it is not real...Mere thought.
Or is it?

Life isn't about surviving
blind and unseeing
Existing, complete in just being?
Life is in affirmation...Loving deeply
Feeling, tasting, touching...Seeing
Indifference, to compassion, to total understanding
Imagine

Feeling love, hate, desire, pain
For life's value...For life's meaning
Worthy of dreaming. Albeit of thinking.
For it is real!
Or is it...Mere thought?

That is a good question, but I feel life is about thinking but more than a mere thought would be needed to sustain it, as your poem seems to say to me. Nicely done.
