Life Is Too Short
Life is too short
Was just getting into the swing of it
When WHAM... those so called Golden Years
Reared up and belted me on the side of the head
It's bloody well not fair!
Just when I thought I had it all figured out
My body says, “Hang in there, buddy!”
All my life, I looked forward to my retirement years
Then when they finally arrived
The gold is all tarnished and the body decides
It just doesn't want to co-operate anymore
So all you young'uns... it's as good as it's gonna get
Life sure is short
Enjoy it while it lasts!
