our last goodbyes
memories that laugh and cry
faces that fade in yesterday's apprehensive mists and
forgotten or ignored "we'll get togethers"
life is about a "head-in-hands cry" - a breathless sigh
a wondering why I ended this day without
a purpose fulfilled - without having lost at least one
" I tried"
