Life Is a Lesson
Life is a lesson one must learn
Many however have little concern
Some have hindsight that’s sharp and concise
Others leave learning to only the wise
Experience teaches us everyday
But some still choose to look away
Concerned for only how they are seen
Some live behind their own thick smokescreen
Morals and values once gave us hope
But now they are looked at as only a joke
The world is slipping into a deep abyss
With sin running rampant, foul and amiss
If people do not soon learn the ills of their ways
The ultimate price someday they’ll pay
