Life In Pink

LIFE IN PINK 

Woke up with a bemused smile.
Got up with spring in my steps.
Opened a window and the door
and let the bright sunshine in.

Got out, looked at the shining sun
in the sky, surrounded by clouds.
Yet, I saw the pinkish hue around it.
Thought of the song Life in Pink.

Practiced the dance La Vie En Rose
and the song I need to record, My Love.
How beautiful it is to feel and see
life through rosy pink glasses.
