Life In Pajamas

Wearing my p.j.’s again today.
Third day?
Fourth?
Nineteenth?
It is my painting outfit, so back off.
I take a whiff.
It’s not that bad yet.
I might put it into the laundry.
The laundry king knows it has to be washed by morning.
Guess I will keep him another forty-nine years.

This Poem made my day. I have been in hospital with a fractured hip, and since coming home i have lived in my pyjamas. It has been a cold winter for Oz so far this year. I was starting to feel guilty about not wanting to get dressed, until I read your Poem and the comments below. My husband has come out in sympathy and is sitting in his cosy dressing gown immersed in a book...

I like wearing pajamas - I am really great at wearing them all day long. No apologies. Sorry about your hip.

So funny. It is 12:24pm here and I am still in my pajamas. I do all of my reading and commenting before noon, so why change? I will bathe and change into shorts and a tee if I decide to go out somewhere. I love a cozy house, and I love to be comfortable.

I love being comfy too; it is my new "way" of doing things.
