Life Grants No Do Overs

I’ve heard “Life is quick so make it count,”
so that near it’s finish there’s no regrets.
Though your importance isn’t paramount,
to some you’re the sun that rises and sets.
We should endeavor each day to do our best,
and from hurting others, we must refrain.
For our earthly clock is merely God’s test,
there’s a Hell to shun and Heaven to gain.
Remember, all will sin and come up short,
seek forgiveness for things that are daunting.
Don’t be found guilty in judgment’s court,
*weighed in the balance and found wanting.
