Life Goes Around

The baby wears diapers
A 3-year-old thinks they are funny
A frustrated potty-training mommy
A grandmother laughs

The baby grows up
She is driving a car
The parents are not ready
The grandmother laughs

The baby graduates from college
She has a diploma
The parents are proud
Grandma waits for a photo

The baby gets married
The baby raises a family
Her parents are taking care of grandma
Grandma wears diapers
Grandma laughs

Michelle Faulkner May 24, 2018 at 9:56 AM Oh the circle of life - my siblings and I now have to be responsible for our mother who is frail and in assisted living - and the wheel turns- Caren Krutsinger May 24, 2018 at 10:29 AM And it keeps on turning and turning and turning and turning. When I was young I had no idea how fast it turns.
