Life Can Be Very Hard

Life can be very hard and a struggle, That one may want to succumb to defeat. There are many things one has to juggle; It is extremely tough to make ends meet. I've learned to view life with a new lens, I started seeing my blessings each day. When I felt overwhelmed, I called my friends, Hardships may come; however, they don't stay. Lessons can be learned in every new trial, Like not spending money on frivolous things. Taking each challenge in stride and a smile. Embrace love, find shelter under her wings. Let love be your guide as your face life’s test, So you can have a winning attitude. In hard times, remember you're on a quest, To find zest for life, with much gratitude. Life is a good opponent, makes one tough, Round by round, you get stronger and stronger. A fighter is born when you've had enough. You're not bothered if the bout lasts longer Struggles are apart of this thing called life, They allow us to have tough skin and win. One’s standing tall in the midst of much strife, Because they tapped into their strength within. Contest: Life’s Struggles Sponsor: Constance La France 03/03/2021

Sound, wise words and advice my dear friend Alexis. You describe how life is exactly it has it ups and it has its downs. But both are necessary so that we come out of this churning whirling merry go round and we don't fall off, we hold onto it as we have built up our strength and moral to the extent that we can face anything. Blessing, hugs and love dear friend. A wonderful poem and so well penned, excellent. Jennifer. Jennifer.

Great advice conveyed in descriptive wording and rhyming. You must have taken longer than the average amount of time to put this poem together.
