Life At Poetry Soup

Some tell me they are tired of Poetry Soup.
It's changed a  lot, so, I get their distress!

Then, I am told they have no time for it.
Then why keep posting,  if it is the pits?

I have my aggravations, too.
A few people keep me stuck here like glue!

They know who they are.
They are my encouragers, and never afar.

I truly am grateful for those frequent few.
They keep this poetess penning for all to view.

You connect with folks.-))) cold comments should be axed. Nothing human in them. Cookie cutters need to be axed also. Most here can type for heavens sake. Delete cookie cutter comments. I mean it. They should use Plus signs. Like four pluses or one. They always type their name, however, and long, boring poems. Your Poet friend, Pangie xx

Tom Cunningham April 30, 2021 at 1:35 PM I remember when I joined four years ago it used to be so busy, your poem wouldn't be on long as the amount of traffic soon pushed it off the bottom. And comments were plentiful back then, but sadly no more. Hope it picks up soon. Tom Panagiota Romios April 30, 2021 at 6:32 PM I don't think it ever will, Tom. So be it. I am neither a total optimist nor pessimist.Just me. When 45 Jews died, In one day, I am sad. And all must be buried in 24 hours. Glad you and Alexis are close. It's what I give to the world that matters to me. I am grateful for all friends here. I has both the best and the worst in my long Life. I always am chasing a goal. I have been since I was 16. If I didn't have this place, I probably would have gone insane. I agree the soup has changed, and it's not the same. But I try to focus on the positives instead of the negatives.
