Life Adjacent

Life adjacent By Michelle Morris 23/07/2023 When people who are meant to care Let us down and into despair We might choose to step away And live a life adjacent Away from the maddening crowds Away from humanity's cloud Away from distrust and hurt Away from broken hearted moments Scattered pieces of our souls Need time and space to become whole Reflections and contemplation Truthful spiritual reconciliation In meditation and prayer and supplication Silence and stillness and guidance God and His Angels protect and help us Through our dark nights of the soul Into the darkness and emptiness Embracing and healing and balancing Until like a phoenix rising from the ashes after the fire We are able to fill our souls with Light's power Enlightenment and wisdom and knowledge Can help and support our revelations We live a life with a higher purpose And make a difference to God's Universe Our souls are able to shine brightly We become the best versions of ourselves Healed hearts and souls and minds We live life adjacent no more © Michelle Morris, 2023
