Life

Is there life out there beyond the star's
I look in awe and think in wonder
What lies up there beyond celestial thunder
Is there man or only beast
Or is every planet long deceased
Is god up there in all his glory
Pondering a new chapter in life's story
Are we alone and quite unique
Is life a monstrous hideous freak
For without life to lay secrets bare
The Universe just wouldn't care
