Life

LIFE

we alike the stars
all millions of miles apart
all so lonely
trying to outshine others
but dying in the process

This poem has a deeper meaning than it presents on the surface. If we stop trying to outshine others, we could capture the light of togetherness and the universe would be a much brighter place! Have a great one! Gwendolen

Daver, I really appreciate your comments today. I can't stay up any later to look for your older poems. I missed too much sleep last night not realizing the clock was set forward and having to get to church . I hope to see a new one from you soon, ok?? Thanks for reading mine as you always so kindly do.

Have you read "Many Lives, Many Masters" by Dr. Brian Weiss, Daver? Highly recommend this book. But you already know I'm a believer. Love, Carolyn
