Life

I see the trees billowing in the wind...
through them I see the shadows of the clouds
begin to blend....
beckoning to me out loud...
bowing their heads like they are proud...

the wind blows as it caresses my face...
unwanted memories I try to erase...

calmness and peace assail my senses...
so peaceful and serene I am so defenseless...
let go the hurt and pain mingle with the rain...
I will be whole once again...

just sit back and observe God's creations...
they are the beginning of a revelation...

Hi, Deneen. I am so glad this site is up and running properly. I missed your poetry as well as many others here. This was breathtaking, refreshing heartwarming relaxing and it cleansed my soul. You accomplished your goal, alright. I love your positive view on things, and when I am on a pity pot, you are where I go to get off of it. Thanks, you. Peace, Ivy
