Liberty

I am the steadfast circle, forged for right,
From silent fields where freedom's seeds are sown,
I rise amidst the throng and join the fight-
The banner of the brave, by wind now blown.
Liberty is not a word, but fire-
I spark the dreams awakened in each heart.
I call the weary soul to climb up higher,
And dare the fallen spirit to restart.
I live within each quiet, stubborn stand,
Defending those who speak when silence reigns.
I breathe within the hand that helps a hand,
My oath: to shield each promise from its chains.
So let them raise their voices, strong and clear-
For liberty is born when I refuse fear.
