Liberate Me

Liberate me my love
Show me the right way to love thee
Sing to me my love 
Show me the right way to cherish thee
Serenade me my love
Show me how to care for thee
I have regret of my past , needing to be needed
My hopes that you'd be that one are true
Although your feeling's I've mistreated 
I have spent much time relying on your ways
To care for me throughout my life's meaningless days 
Liberate me my love 
Let your light overwhelm the dark
Liberate my heart to love.... again

Robert Pettit June 8, 2013 at 12:07 PM Me thinks thou hast a good write. Just remove the apostrophe from "feeling's" in your ninth line. Apostrophes are only used when a genitive or possessive case is present.
