Liber
I dreamed of a green wonderland,
Covered in stunning leaves connected to the strongest of trees.
Valiantly the Bear Grass covers the dirt,
As if we had stepped in Alice’s Wonderland
Or a figment of Dr. Seuss?
I dreamed of a green wonderland,
Where each body of rolling water,
Created by godly painters,
Openness of their art,
Senses freedom and serenity.
I dreamed of a green wonderland,
One where nature readily greets the needy,
Provides for the independent,
Silences the arrogant
And makes peace within the unsettled.
I dreamed of a body of water,
So large, the struggle of the land,
Minimized.
I am lonely, but not alone.
The sea regrets forgiveness, and swallows pride.
I dreamed of a night sky,
Sparkling with stars so bright,
The sun bows in the crystal light.
I dreamed of mountains,
Touching the painted sky,
Blanketed by the cold cottoned snow.
Wise souls watching the below.
The souls of the ancestors.
I dreamed of a marshy wonderland,
Glowing with light of the storm.
Home for the petite,
Hugging the edges of the water.
Full of life.
I dreamed of a Wonderland.
Quaint.
Sacred.
Serenity.
