Letting Go-Three Form Style

Part 1

Let there be no memories of you
Even the ones that are almost new
They remind me false promises and lies
Trust is now over with tears in my eyes
I give up on you and let myself free
Never thought this could happen to me
Goodbye didn't come easy it was hard

Grief and regret soon shall be barred
Only peace my healing heart shall guard


Part 2

You left and I waited without clue,
Maybe our love wasn't meant to thrive,
Nothing stops life and I forgive you,
For my heart to breathe and survive.


Part 3

I buried the past
forgiveness gave a new start 
life is beautiful.
