Letting Go

Latching on to ill will, I seed a sour thought
evolving, it bore a fruit of venom in my heart
this toxicity ruined my Life and took joy in a snatch
taking care of thoughts that take root I now watch,
insensitive words or actions from others I cannot control
noting my reactions, my thoughts are now under my patrol,
greatness may lie in forgetting and forgiving others wrong

gaining absolute control of my thoughts is what I really long
other adverse thoughts I let go and do not allow them to throng.

                       ************
Caging all the grudges in I was left in pain
stubborn they remain clogging my heart,
freeing them up brought in the shine
abandoning my hold I happily dart.

                       ************

open wounds of hurt
left fresh in heart, healed fast with
a forgiving thought.
