Letting Go
Lingering threat of what was condemning me
Everlasting fear became quite depressing
Tail spin spun under a dark wing duck
Tiny tunes heard in a ear stood stuck
Interference during after school time
Neglecting to see who payed for his crime
Greatly loved regardless to say
Genuinely missed during his jail house stays
Oppressed feelings accepting his ways
Programs amongst interventions
I had to let go of my couldn't past
Becoming of me was my abstention
My path became my own at last
Once overlooking
Coming to terms within time
I set myself free
