Letter From Albinos
Dear murderers,
You do not know how it feels to be like us
The burden that sleeps in our hearts
The abuse we are faced with society
Where did we go wrong?
Why segregation?
When John 3:16 vomits love
When we were told to be our brother's keeper
When will freedom rack at our doors
You do not know how it feels to be like us
The sadness that directs our paths
The flood that befalls our skins
Where have we gone wrong?
Why society?
Why aren't you seeking to address our qualms?
Why are you ignoring the cries of our voices?
Did we blame our misfortunes on you?
You do not know how it feels to be like us
The pain that relaxes in our minds
The frustration that throws us apart
Where did we go wrong?
Are we different?
Aren't we made from the dust of the earth?
If you do claim to love God
Why do you hate us passionately?
Hardship is our shelter
Tears are crawling on our cheeks
Oh society!
Do we deserve being tortured?
