Let's Watch A Parade
Stand next to me, or wait, instead
Sit next to me upon the bed
Grab a blanket over there
One's enough, we both can share
Wrapped up inside, you and I
We'll watch as the parade goes by
Get close, so close, our faces press
Cheek to cheek in soft caress
Now if I want to give a kiss
Should I tell you first of this?
Or may I simply kiss away?
Parades are nice I have to say
But nicer still is sitting close
The parade is an excuse at most
For me to snuggle up to you
I think I've got the better view
