Lets Tango

The anatomy of a poet’s heart ebbs and flows~
  sometimes like the swirling ocean,
  fluent in idyllic idioms and mystical metaphors,
woven from aesthetic elements of nature,
  for inspirations glide through warm waves, 
crashing on shores, when emotions rise with turbulent tides. 

Yet today the turquoise seems lusterless,
  gloomy clouds overshadow every faultless ripple,
that shines and rhymes amidst cruel currents of time,
  leaving ink afloat in blackened seas of sorrow,
reminiscing sapphire blues that unfurled artistic skies,
and here I lay my dreams on an oceanic bed,
  embellished with rainbow pearls and rubies,
concealing oozing torrents gushing out of aching arteries, 
while magical hues merge with magenta melancholia,
as amethyst afterglows adorn the hushed horizon,
    I remain poetically stable…

Duke Beaufort March 29, 2024 at 10:36 AM IE, the first stanza strikes me as a Tango since there's drama and action that's strong and directed. The second one makes me think the music changed a bit to an interlude. It's the softer gentler steps in the dance that make the strong steps stand out more. You are making me think and apply different things...a real mental exercise and smile creator!

"for inspirations glide through warm waves, crashing on shores, when emotions rise with turbulent tides." Inspirations and emotions go hand in hand. Great piece as always Ink.
