Let's Slide Down the Milky Way

Let’s Slide Down the Milky Way
<\center>I slid down the Milky Way Through billowing clouds and twinkling stars Played with moonbeams in a galaxy so far away What do you have to say? Let me tell you about that night The joy of my flight Do resist the urge to fight Let’s slide down the Milky Way My spirit was free I was looking to make a new discovery A lovely fairy stood next to me We will travel to a place of peace and equality This is the way life should be And what happened next I will never understand I was standing in a distant land I didn’t even know I had left Earth you see It was real you see, At least it was real to me A child handed me a moonbeam and a star, <\e,>Let’s slide down the Milky Way. Do you want to play?<\em> This was hard for me to do, They kept begging me to play Finally my inhibitions gave way We played all through the night, ‘Neath the bright moonlight All too soon the sun was bright Tonight, you can share my fantasy If you do not take the chance You may never learn to dance If you have no imagination, You will never know jubilation Words are not always true It depends upon your point of view Let’s slide down the Milky Way<\center>
