~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
She stared into the lonely skies,
Wings in cobalt sought to chastise,
With breathless tears she always tries,
Giving esteem to the laughing sunrise.
She sat beneath glittering stars, so wise,
Listening to the stillness, trying to surmise
Would the swelling seas believe her lies,
As the rushing waves continue to surprise.
She began to feel dreams, like butterflies,
Remembering the joy their light implies,
Kindling wonders her faith would baptize,
Prompting the heart who continues to fantasize.
Wherever she goes, she’s known to empathize –
With those who are hurting, those she’ll surmise,
Are often mourning, living with grief she’d advise…
Souls to touch the light that shines when worry dies.
