Let's Hear It For the Devil

Let’s hear it for the Devil And The Sinister Henchmen Band C’mon…..ladies and gentlemen Let’s give’’em a hand Just back from a world tour 146 cities in 24 hours Consecutive sell outs Rooms without showers. C’mon, we know you love to hate him to denigrate and bait him yet your choices, oh so sad only serve to sate him. He’s the echo of the preachers Spittle spewing crooked speeches He’s that subtle twisted lie Of a truth we can’t deny That haunts us ‘til we die So let’s hear it for the EVIL one Who’s twisted how we LIVE And hope that “something” in us Will somehow, someday, FORGIVE.
