Let's Have Fun

Can I get all the Souper's attention 
For the first annual PoetrySoup convention 
We will share our poems with our friends
And hear a poem from all who attends 

We can go to my place or yours 
Meet poets from all distant shores
We can see all of our friends real faces 
Instead of looking at avatar spaces 

We can cater fine foods and hors d'oeuvres 
And we'll toast with whatever the bartender serves 
Some wine, some beer or a glass of champagne 
Or water or soda (lol) no need to explain 

So I'm in...and I'm game for some fun 
I sure hope to meet everyone   

If I hit the mega-millions I'll pay everyone's way
