A scarlet Sun shrinks Night into shadows
that lurk behind whatever blocks its rays.
And unleashes colors shackled to black,
as Dawn sets ebony heavens ablaze.
Sunrise, colors clouds, cotton candy pink;
as though lightly inked by the breath of God.
And as the Sun's light caresses my skin,
I feel my soul approvingly applaud.
A sensual sensation cocoons me
as I bask in the warm rays of sunshine.
And linked by my connection to Nature,
consciousness and reality align.
Upon God declaring, "Let there be light,"
Sunbeams lit the Day; moonbeams lit the Night.
