Let Pain With Me Remain

Whence I dost stand I mayst herein remain But if I move not thou wilt move away So chose I didst to walk thou I might wane By steps, old self be gone still love pure stays. From a stone I hast impaired mine to see Same as thy eyes that sight I canst deceive Since none of these views are better than thee Confine me blind to what I dost believe. For I love thee thus pain I mainly urge To mirror lost profit numbers made worse And prepare ere sweetness in ripe diverge Thence defects as fulfilled my will needs nurse. The worth of all these lies on love's contain If thy cause then let pain with me remain.
