Let Me Know
In the labyrinth of my heart, where love once dwelled,
I've been lost in thoughts of you, my soul's sweet hell.
I thought we'd found our way, our love's guiding light,
But now, in darkness, I search for what's real, and what's just night.
We used to laugh, to cherish every fleeting glance,
Our video calls, a symphony of love's sweet dance.
But now, the silence screams, a chasm wide and deep,
Leaving me with doubts, and a heart that weeps.
What should I think, dear love, when absence speaks louder than words?
Is it the end of our love story, or just a chapter blurred?
I'm torn between hope and despair, as tears fall like autumn's rain,
Longing for reassurance, for a love that's not in vain.
Why do good hearts break, and true love suffer pain?
Is it fate's cruel jest, or just life's unpredictable game?
I'm left with shattered dreams, and a heart that's lost its way,
Yearning for your love, night and day.
Babe, let me know where I stand, in your eyes, in your heart,
Am I still the one you love, or just a fading part?
My tears won't cease, my heart won't heal,
Until I know the truth, and can begin to feel.
My eyes are red from crying, my heart is breaking apart,
My head spins with thoughts of us, and the love we've shared from the start.
Do you understand my pain, do you care?
Can you see the love I have for you, and the tears I've shed in despair?
Let me know, dear love, let me know,
If I'm still the one you're holding onto, or if I've been let go.
Is there someone else now, someone who holds your heart?
Tell me the truth, babe, and let me know where we stand from the start.
