Let Me Into Your Heart

They tell me that you have a broken heart
That came one time from a wandering man
I know the feeling that tears you apart
But I'm here to help and help you I can

I will put stars back in those lovely eyes
And give you a laugh that goes with your voice
I'll make you forget the cheatin' and lies
So you can recall when you had a choice

For I am a healer of broken hearts
And I am simple - as simple can be
I have no gimmick such as Cupid's darts -
I am open and plain for all to see

You can start by staring at stars above
Let me into your heart - they call me love

Written with such a gentle hand, Larry. It's a very poignant sonnet.
