Let Me Dream

My verse, so awful dreary Of darkness, readers weary Why can't I write of glad times My poetry's a crime Let me close my eyes and dream of lambent tropical scenes Conjure up a pair of lovers above whom moonlight hovers Or gaze upon a rose garden with myriad brilliant hues Mother Nature's pantheon speeds swift to my rescue

This transports me to a tropical paradise, especially the 'moonlight hovers' line - gorgeous imagery, gw! (I may borrow this when my own verse is weary and dreay)

You and I must be the last two people extant who appreciate this kind of muse... I sure thank you for the support, Michelle. (Where'd everyone else go?!... I guess my gloomy writes scared them off! lol). Cheers, Gershon
