Let Me Cry
Let me cry, until I've come to my last tear.
To cry out my feelings, say aloud my greatest fear.
But with you, being so close and near,
I feel no fear, my path is crystal clear.
But when I cry, please know this, my dear,
I won't be like what I used to appear.
I used to beam and shine, throughout the year.
But each word you said, each look of sneer,
pierced my heart, as if it was struck, by a spear.
And now, by crying to the last of tears, I want you to hear,
All my feelings, and know that I'm not a mere frightened deer.
