Let Me Be

My heart trapped in your web
Of love, an illusion I can't set
Myself free from, an eternal regret
Drowning in my wishing well

Am not afraid to let go
Of what never wanted to stay
Starring at the shooting star
Making wishes that won't come by

Let me be, in the rain alone
To learn how to be cold
Let me walk through the fire
Want to be numb anew.
